"For the Wolf" by Hannah Whitten is a very fun start to a new fantasy series. It pulls elements from Red Riding Hood for some of the set up and Beauty and the Beast for the relationship, but it is telling its own story.
I really love the main character, so much so that for the first half of the book I would get a little annoyed when it switched perspective to her sister. But those altering perspectives did do an excellent job of building the different sides of the story, which then came together in an emotional climax.
All in all, a great book 1 that leaves you wanting more but thankfully doesn't leave you hanging on too much of an epic cliffhanger moment. I will be checking out book 2 when it's available.
